We get an email notification every time somebody signs the online petition here at the web site. And it's great, sometimes you can tell when there's been a news story someplace, the signatures just come popping in, one after the other.
One time this happened, and we couldn't figure it out. There hadn't been any news story that we knew about. It turned out that somebody had said something about us in a school newsletter. People heard about us, checked out the site, signed the petition. Typically, like today, a few also choose to join our Yahoo group. Welcome aboard.
This morning The Post had a nice article that summarized the situation very well. Somebody pointed out that DCist carried a link to The Post's story, too. And here come the signatures!

Ø You are the one who brought up your children and you are the one that held yourself out, as an example of a straight woman there fore it is appropriate for you to elaborate what you meant. I think that I understand better ware you are coming from. Thought your statements raises more questions like the word “transition” your children have also gone through a transition similar to your own? Were your children born one sex and then transition to another? How ware and when did that happen? are there records to prove it? If you want to hold your self up as an example of a straight normal family you can not then say it is none of my business. You have to decide weather you want to hold yourself up for public scrutiny or keep your life private you cannot do both.

I have no idea what you're saying here. I don't know anyone who has had anal sex with a toddler, though I do know that the vast majority who do are straight men. Usually when lovers are killed, it's the men killing their girlfriends and wives, and as for spreading AIDS, that is also primarily heterosexual transmission.

I'd really like to know to whom I'm speaking. You want to know personal things about my life, the least you could do is identify yourself. I have been infinitely more forthcoming than you already simply by naming myself.

And you should read back over the old posts. I've made it quite clear -- I think -- what intersexed and transsexed mean, what transition is, how this society has evolved in its understanding of the phenomenon.

I just deleted a long, rambling, grammatically and intellectually incoherent statement that tied together a lot of absurd stereotypes, misstatements and lies, and personal insults.
We have a serious situation on our hands here, some important decisions to make about public education in Montgomery County. We welcome discussion at this web site. I won't delete comments because of their point of view but the same old rule is still in play: Morons' comments will be deleted.
If you wish to present an opinion, a fact, an argument, an insight, please, come on and talk with us. But I'm going to monitor the discussion, and will arbitrarily delete whatever I think fails to meet a reaasonable standard of integrity and intelligence.

No she's not using speaking in first person, Anont. First person uses "I" and "we," and neither is used in the quote you noted. Second person uses "you." Third person uses "he, she, it and they." Where (not "ware") did you learn English? Using your logic, since you hold yourself up as an Engish-speaker, "you can not then say it is none of my business" to ask you about it.

That's quite a leap, Anont, from Dana Beyer M.D. saying "so what" about sexual orientation of the perpetrators of genocide to seeing nothing wrong with genocide. You are exhibiting misconstrual in your own unique way.

The two terms "homophobe" and "human" have distinctly different meanings. Not all humans exhibit an "irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals." I can see how a homophobe might confuse the two.
