They Have to Lie
Really. They just can't help themselves.
I should just ignore the CRC's latest announcement that they are having a meeting of "concerned parents and citizens" to discuss the new sex-ed curriculum, but they keep outdoing themselves.
Here's the entire text of their flyer, except for some time and place information at the bottom:
The bolding and underlining is theirs.
This says that the new curriculum will teach about what homosexual and transgender people do (practices) and how they do it (mechanics). Do you get the impression that the the curriculum they are describing will teach children how to have homosexual and transgender sex? If they didn't say it outright, they don't mind if that's what you think it meant.
This is the one thing they have to say, their summary of what the new classes are about.
And it's a lie.
The new curriculum talks about neither mechanics nor practices. It talks about how people feel. It does not talk about any sexual behaviors at all, at least in the new sections, and surely there is nothing anywhere about gay or transgender sexual behaviors ... er, mechanics and practices.
The CRC has never made a distinction between health education and pornography, they have always treated them as equivalent in their ongoing crusade to debase and defile the world we live in.
They hope to attract a crowd by misleading the public about what's in the classes. Let's guess which TV channels will send a camera crew.
If it was really that bad, they wouldn't have to do this, they could point to something that is actually present in the curriculum and complain about that. Like, if the curriculum said that sexual orientation was "immutable," they wouldn't have to make that up, they could just point to it andwhine complain about it. The school district is playing hardball, they tricked the CRC by not including anything about it being immutable, or anything about mechanics and practices of homosexual and transgender people.
But the CRC is committed, they won't let that stop them.

Does it ever occur to anyone that Jim does a lot of whining about CRC? It's kind of interesting how much they worry him. Here's what the worry is about:
"They hope to attract a crowd.... TV channels will send a camera crew."
TTF likes as little light on this as possible. Indeed, they prefer that the only information or discussion the public hears comes from the school board or their stack of puppets on the CAC.
In open forums on this topic, TTF generally comes out the loser. So they strive mightily to quash any public meetings where a contrary view might be expressed.
Hey, everybody: go out to the CRC meeting and see what they meant by "mechanics". A provocative statement requiring some explanation is a common way for citizen advocacy groups to attract people to meetings. It's nothing to whine about!
"Like, if the curriculum said that sexual orientation was "immutable,"...they could just point to it and complain about it."
Or they could complain if it misleadingly implied that. Or if it said those with same sex attractions could experience a sense of joy if they tell everyone about it. Or if it said people with any kind of negative attitude about homosexuality were homophobic. Or if it implied that the most common practices of homosexual expression were perfectly safe if performed with a condom. Or if it said homosexuality was innate, when there is no empirical evidence to support. Or if it implied that if you don't feel like one of the guys, nice principals will give you your very own bathroom. Or if it implied...
"The school district is playing hardball, they tricked the CRC by not including anything about it being immutable, or anything about mechanics and practices of homosexual and transgender people."
That's tricky hardball? I'd call it accomodating their demands. Unfortunately, the school district will have to do better.
Anon, I hate to point out the obvious, but if there was no CRC there would be no TeachTheFacts.org, which would be fine with us.
We only have to defend sanity because it's under attack.
JimK
Another tiresome rant by Anonymous (the infamous troller sock-puppet)
He/she/it says:
"A provocative statement requiring some explanation is a common way for citizen advocacy groups to attract people to meetings." (definition: "provocative statement" = "lie")
"In open forums (sic.) on this topic, TTF generally comes out the loser." Of course, in holding an "open meeting" where you can successfully preach lies to the 15 or so people who are already members of the choir, you can expect the wholesale narcotization of the audience.
The open admission of utilizing lies to garner an audience only exposes the unethical, immoral, and repugnant words and actions used by this group of sex-phobic anti-MCPS "parents".
Way to go, CFC...you should be very proud of your calumny!!
Rob
If there was no gay agenda there would be no CRC, which would be fine.
We only have to defend sanity because it's under attack.
TTF provides a necessary service for mankind, just like those who have chronicled evil in the form of hatred before.
Keep shining the light on those who espouse hatred for their fellow man, JimK.
Jim,
Would you please let me know when and where? If there are some transgender practices I've missed I really need to catch up or I'll be embarrassed.

Thank you, Anon. I probably won't have the time, as I'm busy working on making your life better here in Montgomery County, but, who knows?
I'm not going either. I'm doing a wasteful cultural event.
How you making our life better?
I help to keep the County working.
Dana,
I am sure nothing we do can make life better for nutty anon so I suggest Nutty look at brochures for Louisiana, Kansas and Northern Montana- and move.
My last comment seems to have disappeared so I'll just repeat the part in which I said Jim was wrong. As far as I know- none of the main CRCErs are committed- but perhaps they voluntarily entered St. Elizabeths.
Andrea- not anon
Sorry the last anon was me- not Nutty Buddy anon.
"I help to keep the County working"
How?
They don't have to lie. Some of them just flip-flop.

"I help to keep the County working."
Don't be modest, Dr. Tell us what time-consuming ways you keep the county working.
We need to be inspired by your example.
ooooOOOOOOooooo
Look who was thinking about Dana and expressing "need" to be inspired by her late last night.
Has anyone figured out how the Dr is keeping the county running yet?
I have.
Let us know when you and your Dana jones figure it out too.
